I'm a sculptor living and working in Chicago where I and 4 other artists opened Red Gate Studios. We run a metal shop and art foundry out of the space which is live/work. i work predominantly in metal both cast and fabricated. in my recent work I'm using the machine and its breakdown as a metaphor for the human spirit and our ingenuity as well as our mortality...
