Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago [Mosaic Chicago - John Manning and Chicago Cultural Alliance]

Location: 12th floor of the
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
 
Multimedia installation that employs a series of 15 digital video monitors mounted vertically on a 40-foot curved wall. The mosaic features scrolling portraits of Chicago's children, alternating with images of the textiles from the many cultures of Chicago.

The Chicago Cultural Alliance  [click here..  ]  is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and consortium of Chicago's ethnic museums, cultural centers, and historical societies whose mission is to effect social change and public understanding of cultural diversity through first voice perspectives.
