Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago [Mosaic Chicago - John Manning and Chicago Cultural Alliance]

Location: 12th floor of the
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
 
Multimedia installation that employs a series of 15 digital video monitors mounted vertically on a 40-foot curved wall. The mosaic features scrolling portraits of Chicago's children, alternating with images of the textiles from the many cultures of Chicago.

The Chicago Cultural Alliance  [click here..  ]  is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and consortium of Chicago's ethnic museums, cultural centers, and historical societies whose mission is to effect social change and public understanding of cultural diversity through first voice perspectives. The Alliance connects our member museums and centers to flagship arts and cultural institutions, universities, schools, businesses and government agencies.
