Oak Street Beach [Murals by Chicago artist Jeff Zimmermann]

Oak Street Beach..
Murals by Jeff Zimmermann
Chicago based artist..
I wish I knew when he was painting. I would have loved to see the work-in-progress..

Two masked men posing with the murals. I have no idea who they are, but thought they provided a good Photo-Op.

It was a beautiful day on the beach..

Temporary Exhibition / AIC: Bluhm Family Terrace / Restless Rainbow - by Pae White

Note: The oculous is off-center....

Restless Rainbow..
by Pae White

Inkjet Print and Vinyl

Location Art Institute of Chicago: Bluhm Family Terrace..
While planning for the installation, the artist wondered: what would happen if the rainbow fell from the sky? What if the rainbow defied expectations and it's color spectrum took a new order? Would it include black as rainbows in comic books often do..

PNC Sculpture Park [Seduction - Hal Fisher Stolz]

Seduction - by Hal Fisher Stolz..
The Sphere in Seduction represents the enticement or bait within a trap, as nectar in a Venus Flytrap, or cheese in a mousetrap. The difference is humans can understand the danger and yet they enter anyway. Participants are lured in the middle of the sculpture to feel the scale and power of the sculpture surrounding them.
