Location: Lincoln Park,
west of Cannon Drive and east of the north end of North Pond
Located on Mount Prospect,
a manmade hill just east of Lincoln Park's North Pond.
The sculpture honors Civil War hero and
the fourteenth Governor of Illinois Richard J. Oglesby.
