40 feet long x 18 feet height
10 individual runners statues. Each of the first five runners is 6,000 pounds (3 tons) and the last five runners are12,000 pounds (12 tons)
The stainless steel sculpture was water-jet cut from high grade vessel strength steel, approx. 2.25 inches thick
The sculpture is donated by the Athens Committee of the Chicago Sister Cities International. It was commissioned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Chicago-Athens Sister City relationaship and honors Chicago's large Greek-American community.
