Millennium Park, Chicago
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Jaume Plensa's Crown Fountain,
the artist presented four monumental sculptures installed in Millennium Park.
The sculptures are portraits of young girls (Awilda, Laura, Paula, and Ines) in cast iron and resin. These 4 new portrait sculptures, in addition to the original 1000 portraits of local Chicago residents that illuminate the Crown Fountain everday - make for the 1004 portraits.
