Memorial to honor two Lithuanian- American pilots Captain Stephonas Darius and Lietenant Stacys Girenas, who died during an attempt to fly from New York to Lithuania, upon the threshold of their goal, in 1933.

Darius Girenas Memorial



Large marble strcuture with a semi-circular bronze middle section consisting of two portrait reliefs located on either side of an inscription. At the top of the structure is a bronze globe which shows their plkanes flying from New York to Kaunas, Lithunia.
