Art Chicago, 2010 [Sculptural Exhibits]

Sweet Tooth [2010] - By John Clement..

One of the highlights of Artropolis, 2010.. is the 29 large-scale sculptures displayed in the interior and exterior public spaces of the Merchandise Mart.
It includes..
- 12 large-scale outdoor works by members of the CSI group.. titled .. "Countercurrents".. click here..
[CSI is Chicago Sculpture International]
- There are 17 more large-scale sculptures on the first floor of Merchandise Mart. Of these 5 are outdoors and the rest 12 are indoors.. Also worth mentioning is that 15 of these are a part of Art Chicago, whereas 2 are part of NEXT.. ['Blob Monster' by Tony Tasset and 'Buildings and Gestures'by Susan Giles are part of the NEXT exhibit..]
- So if we take exhibits of only Art Chicago, there are 27 large-scale works..
