| Allium - by Carolyn Ottmers Allium - by Carolyn Ottmers 2004 / Installed 2015 Cast Aluminum / 10 feet tall Location: Chicago Riverwalk Allium is part of sculpture group called Equilibrium. The sculptural group Equilibrium includes three sculptures - Parsnip, Allium, and Shepherd's Purse. They are modelled on plants that grow in Chicago that actually clean up the soil. Although in nature they vary in height from a foot to 3 feet tall; the sculptures height range from 6 feet to 11 feet. Alliums is 10 feet tall. |
