Washington DC is a City of Monuments and Memorials..
In my very short two day trip to Washington DC, [July 4th & 5th, 2011] I could manage to see the followings..

It features bronze sculptures depicting a series of adult lions protecting its cubs, symbolizing the protective role of law enforcement officers..
